Himalayan Bank Limited has extended a major service HBL e-commerce payment gateway for the Nepali E-commerce site owners for Nepal. It has introduced a payment gateway through which VISA & Master Card of the bank account holders and another good news is that they will be introducing American Express, JCB, UnionPay & SCT in near future to facilitate more consumers.
This service will indeed help both online buyers and sellers as the payment gateway has been one of the big hurdles for online business in Nepal. As per HBL below are the steps to integrate HBL E-commerce on their website. If any Online Shoppers want to integrate HBL e-commerce, they need to open an account in the bank. Upon query, they will integrate the system to the merchant within 10 working days. For security reasons, the shoppers/consumer details are transacted through secured pages. Bank will credit merchant account after 7 days from the transaction done.
