I have shot the below Timelapse Video from Kathmandu to Bhaktapur with OnePlus3 Mobile. Commuting from Kathmandu to Bhaktapur is too time taking, hope the commute be fast as shown in the timelapse video. Though the travel is through one of the broad highway of Nepal, irresistible driving , number of stops and busy traffic makes it a uncomforatble ride.

Last week a colleague of my office brought a great device which was a handy android based media player or say a projector and speaker. The device is called Doogee Smart Cube P1 which can rest in palm easily of 62 x 62 x 62mm and looks interesting due to its colorful outlook.
The smart cube projector comes along inbuilt battery, lens, micro USB port, power port, USB port, 8GB internal memory, speaker, WiFi, 1 GB RAM, Bluetooth, heat emitting fan. It works with android 4.4 and weighs around 240 grams. While browsing across different online stores, I found its price ranging from $140 to $180. It is made in China and designed by doogee.cc. The device fulfills its slogan “life starts from smart cube” whilst it is not for heavy videos like 4k videos. It will work for both android and ios and you may need to install some apps. While going through Facebook today, I found a link to an event on VR happening in Nepal. The program VR Developers Meet Nepal 2016 is being conducted by Google Developer Groups – Kathmandu (GDGKTM).
As per to GDGKTM “VR Developers Meet is intended on introducing and excelling development of virtual reality applications that can contribute to the local as well as the global market. HTC Vive - Sony PlayStation VR
PlayStation VR, known by the codename Project Morpheus during development, is a virtual reality gaming head-mounted display developed by Sony Interactive Entertainment and manufactured by Sony,scheduled to launch on October 13, 2016. The PlayStation VR has a 5.7 inch OLED panel, with an RGB sub-pixel matrix resolution of 1080p, or 960xRGBx1080 per eye.

Use of VR technology in Tourism
I had heard about Virtual Reality after Facebook bought Oculus Rift to make its presence in development of Virtual Reality (VR). From then on, I have been following different posts and articles based on uses of VR in various sectors like Medicine, Industries, Education where VR can be implemented for different purposes like researches and enhancements. VR, now has similar charm like the first iPod or iPhone had created. Though it’s limited to certain people only for now, there is want for more content, products and its implementation around us. I would like to state some use of VR technology in Tourism for now.
From the experience of the VR users, it has been worked and they felt it like their own new sense. Although this tool is new in technology, it will surely bring dramatic and revolutionary leap in field of tourism. On using the Head Set of VR, you will feel that you are present in the very place of which your are viewing through it. Facebook supports 360 degree photos
Yesterday a friend of mine posted 360 degree photo in fb wall, from there I came to know Facebook supports 360 degree photos which can be viewed on desktop, iOS, Android, and a virtual reality headset. This may be after effect of Facebook overtaking a company Oculus which has focus on Virtual Reality (VR) technology.
360 degree photos are typically taken with a 360-degree camera which are now available in different models of Camera of brands like LG, Samsung, Go Pro, Sony etc. For smartphone users this type of image can be generated by taking a panoramic photo.
The 360 degree photos can be viewed by clicking and dragging your mouse along the image to get a different view where as on mobile viewer can move the smart phone left, right or up, down to feel the 360 degree photo.
